MICHELLE HAYO (michhayo) is an original artist from Marietta, Georgia. Well, sort of . . . Michelle grew up an army brat, moving several times in her younger years. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, Michelle moved to Atlanta. She has a passion for storytelling which prompted her to begin her career in public relations. She spent more than 10 years in communications and marketing, but has always found peace in her art.
Michelle paints in her home studio uncovering ways to mix texture and color into unique, abstract pieces. She works in acrylic, watercolor, and ink to create colorful, playful designs. She plays with a variety of subjects inserting a bit of whimsy into each piece.
She and her husband have two beautiful boys that show her daily new ways to be creative.
